Durdle Door Landscape Tuition and Workshops
As a Dorset based photographer I offer Durdle Door Landscape Tuition and Workshops. These can either be sunrise or sunset based workshops, depending on which time of day you prefer (or both). They can also be extended after sunset and into the evening for some awesome milky-way photography.
I also offer landscape photography workshops at other locations and portrait photography workshops too.
How to book on your workshop
You can book your workshop space by buying a voucher below. I can accommodate up to 12 students at any one time and the price is per student. The price includes a briefing before we start and hands on help on how to get the best images with your camera and equipment. These courses run regularly and run once we have over 3 students booked on (so ideal for groups and people on holidays).
What do i need?
Good walking shoes as the walk down to durdle door from the car parks is down a hill and on a stoney path so make sure you are happy to undertake this both going down and up. We don’t expect you to run up or down but it is reasonably steep on the way up.
Camera wise to get the best from this experience I’d recommend a dSLR with either a standard or wide lens (24mm or wider at the wide end). A tripod is also recommended as some of the images taken will be at a longer exposure time of several seconds so you will not be able to hold the camera still. For the night-time images a fast lens is an advantage, something f/2.8 or faster though again this isn’t absolutely essential.
After the shoot
Depending on timings we may go to a nearby pub for a debrief on the session and do a quick view of images. There will also be a place to upload your images to for critique should you so wish.
