Street Portrait Photography in London

Street Portrait Photography in London

I Love street photography. I try and get out and do it fairly often as it encourages people watching, great for composition and also brilliant for sharpening up the eye and reflexes. I’ve shot street photography in London before and also in Dorset near Wimborne, Poole and Bournemouth.

I met up with some like minded friends and photographers and we went around various parts of London including brick lane which is steeped in history (but also a fair walk from the rest of London as we found out). We were lucky with the weather too, with only a litle bit of rain by the end of the evening. We had a leisurely walk around and stopped for some lunch (and smoothies). After Lunch we did some more street photography and then had a brief break by oxford street and a pub with some liquid refreshment. After this we then went to Carnaby Street to photograph the shoppers and people coming out of work.

Here’s a selection of my favourites from the day from Brick Lane, Carnaby Street, the Millennium bridge and some other selected parts of our Capital London Town.
