Dorset Portrait Photography – On Bournemouth Beach in winter

Portrait Photography in Dorset is Awesome. There are so many wonderful locations. I managed to get down Bournemouth Beach today to do some photographs for Louise and her friends. What a great winters day we had too. Some glorious sunshine as we only get in Dorset* (*other counties may also get some). We started of by Boscombe pier (which had just closed) so we went onto the beach and underneath the pier to start with and did some wide portraits and some closer portraits too with everyone wearing summer dresses. We then did some stylised portraits with the setting sun. With sunset quickly approaching we wanted to try some more fun shots. Louise suggested jumping and who am I to say no! So after a few informal photographs we did a few dynamic jumping pictures, both into the sun and in silhoutte to keep things interesting 🙂 Finally a couple more portraits using the setting sun and some flash to bring the girls out.

The portrait shoot was then at an end and we had a glorious sunset to finish.
