Yongnuo YN-560TX – Mini Review
Welcome to my mini review of the Yongnuo YN-560TX. I have been using the Yongnuo 560-III for a while now as it’s ability to be triggered by wireless transmitted over great range is super super useful on commercial photography and also on portrait photoshoots. The YN-560-TX adds the ability to control the power remotely via the on-screen display of up to 6 groups of flashes! This is going to be super useful for saving me walking back and forth and let me change things much faster than ordinarily is possible. This is a potent system now, as long as you don’t mind using all manual flash with no iTTL, ETTL or automatic settings. I can’t wait to give it a go on a proper photoshoot now.
As you can see from the images the settings get uploaded to the flashes as you make the changes… super cool and super easy. Range seems great – I tested at over 50m with no problems so more than good enough for most uses. Here’s a few images of the screen on the yn-560-tx and the yn-560-iii flash.
The Yn 560-tx comes in a nice little box, no pouch or foot for it though which as it’s for being on camera no problem at all.

It’s easy to change the settings from camera position.
