Portrait Studio in Blandford goes to the moon – telescopes and the moon (digiscoping)

I recently purchased a telemescope from a great friend of mine. One of the ulterior motives (as well as showing my kids the moon and stars) was to use it to take photos of the moon closeup…

Well I purchased an adapter for my sony digicam (from Wessex Photo in Blandford – great team in there BTW) (it works with all compacts).

I fixed it to the telescope and after a bit of fiddling i managed to get this shot of the moon… can’t wait until it’s full!
